You are invited to join us for our next Slow Food trip which takes us up the scenic Slieve Aughty Mountains to visit Moyglass Bakery which is owned by master baker Paul Illen on Sunday the 7th April at 1pm. There is a wonderful day in store, which includes; a baking demonstration of sourdough bread by Paul Illen, a talk and demonstration on youghurt making from award winning cheesemaker; Marion Roleveld of Killeen Cheese, and a presentation from Irish Seedsavers, where plants can be purchased on the day. All this is followed by a lunch of Homemade Venison Stew.

- Take R351FROM Loughrea town towards Woodford
- 2 Miles before Woodford on an uphill stretch of road, look for a signpost to the right for Moyglass. Turn right and take the second right after the national school.
- Continue to the end of a narrow road and Paul Illen’s house is the third on the right
